Ping-Click

QR Codes for Art Galleries and Museums

Put a code next to a piece or a help desk. Visitors tap once to send a like or call for help, no app, no account, no queue at the front desk.

Give every piece and desk a way to be heard

A visitor stops in front of a painting, reads the label, and wants someone to know it moved them. Or they have a question about a piece, need directions to an accessible route, or notice a display light is out and want to flag it to staff. Right now their only options are hunting down a docent or leaving without saying anything at all.

Ping-Click gives every room, exhibit case, or help desk its own QR code. A visitor scans it with their phone camera and taps once to send a Like, a Ping, or a Thanks straight to the device of the staff member responsible for that spot. There's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for - just a scan and a tap.

No friction for visitors

Anyone with a phone camera can send a ping in seconds. There is nothing to download and no account to create, so even first-time visitors and older guests can use it without a demo.

You know exactly where it came from

Each code is set up separately, so a like from the Impressionist room reads differently from one at the front desk or the accessibility help point. You always see which piece or location sent it.

Free to create and use

Setting up ping codes costs nothing, whether it is one code for a single exhibit or a code for every room and desk in the building. Only the receiving side needs the Ping-Click app.

Couldn't be simpler

  1. Create a ping code in the Ping-Click app for each artwork, room, or help desk you want visitors to reach, for example one for a favorite painting, one for the information desk, one for the accessibility assistance point.
  2. Print the QR code and place it on a wall label, exhibit case, or desk sign where visitors will naturally see it while looking at the work or waiting for help.
  3. Keep the Ping-Click app open on the staff phone or tablet assigned to that area. When someone scans and taps, the Ping, Like, or Thanks arrives as a real-time push notification on your linked device.

Yes. Creating and using ping codes is free, whether you set up one code for a single exhibit or codes for every room and desk in the building.

Each QR code is its own separate ping code. When it is scanned, you see which specific code sent it, such as the painting, the room, or the help desk, not just a generic alert.
